In a grand celebration today, the "Rescue" project funded by Handicap International was concluded by the Atā' Bilā Hudūd Association. This project worked for 24 months on implementing a community rehabilitation strategy for early detection and intervention in the Abutij and Manfalout centers. The project achieved great success in changing local community attitudes towards disability and was able to achieve its objectives of integrating government services, improving their quality, and linking them with community-based rehabilitation units in the targeted villages.
